1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ReviewDojo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ReviewDojo is an AI-powered code review training platform. It generates intentionally flawed code challenges, accepts user-submitted code reviews, grades them using large language models, and awards experience points (XP) and belt certifications based on performance.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using ReviewDojo, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide a valid email address to register. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Credits and Payments

ReviewDojo uses a credit system. Free credits are granted monthly. Additional credits can be purchased through our pricing page. All payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Credits are non-refundable except at our sole discretion. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts.

6. AI-Generated Content

Code challenges, grading feedback, and belt exam assessments are generated by third-party AI models (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT). This content is for educational purposes only and does not constitute professional software engineering advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated evaluations.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service
• Submit malicious, harmful, or illegal content in challenges
• Share, sell, or transfer your account or credits
• Use automated tools to generate or submit reviews at scale
• Attempt to circumvent the belt certification system

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and software on ReviewDojo are owned by ReviewDojo or its licensors. You retain ownership of any code or annotations you submit, but grant ReviewDojo a limited license to process them through AI models for grading purposes.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of grading, or that certifications will be recognized by any employer or organization.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReviewDojo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of material changes via email.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
